I played the hell out of the game on my Sega CD and at one point had mastered getting all the monster generators, Metal Sonic holograms, and time stones. I personally loved the US soundtrack because it was the first version I heard. The disc contains three bonus tracks, all relating to the North America Special Edition soundtrack written by Spencer Nilsen, including the extended version of. This meant I could put the Sega CD game into a music CD player and listen to the present and future music like any other CD track, but the past music was nowhere to be found. The interesting thing about the past soundtracks is that it wasn't redbook audio like the other tracks. Until I heard the Japanese version's soundtrack years later, I always thought it was weird how different the past music sounded compared to the present and two different future soundtracks of each stage, which all shared a theme. Based around a unique time travel concept, SONIC CD is the most non-linear of the classic Sonic games and the music, composed by Naofumi Hataya and Masfumi Ogata, brilliantly reflects the shifting tones and alternate paths of the game. I've added both an OGG Vorbis and an MP3 320Kbps version for you to download, on top of that I also added an EXTRA 7z Archive file containing SONIC CD Isolated Loops, BETA Tracks, Scans and a couple of things from the Sonic Gems Collection, plus it includes the Megamix 2.0 by TheLegendofRenegade, which is a Genesis/Megadrive style Remix of all the EU/JP Tracks from the game, available in MP3.
